I recently defended my dissertation research at Florida State University, and I am happy to announce that I was awarded the Margaret Menzel Fellowship for Most Outstanding Graduate Student. I would also like to announce officially that I have accepted a post-doctoral position in Dr. Mariana Fuentes' lab at FSU where I will be studying the movement ecology of sea turtles in the Gulf of Mexico to better understand vessel strike risk.
